May 2014 – 25,000 accounts affected

In May 2014, an Asian LGBT website called Fridae was hacked and resulted in more than 25,000 user accounts being compromised including the account email addresses, passwords and usernames.
In May 2014, a popular Asian lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender website called Fridae, was hacked. The hack was officially announced on Twitter. Although Fridae has a user base of approximately 400,000 people, the breach only exposed the personal information of approximately 25,067 members. The data stolen included email addresses, passwords, usernames and website activity. A hacker named Deletescec claimed responsibility of the attack and stated that "[d]igital weapons shall annihilate all secrecy within governments and corporations."
