July 2015 – 447,000 accounts affected

In July 2015, PS3Hacks, a Sony PlayStation hack and modification forum was hacked and more than 447,000 accounts were stolen including information the user's email addresses, IP addresses, passwords and usernames.
In July 2015, another vBulletin forum for Sony PlayStation called PS3Hax, was hacked. This forum focuses on modifications and hacks that you can make to PlayStation. In the breach, hackers stole IP addresses, email addresses, passwords and usernames of approximately 447,000 members.
What's interesting is that over the years, PS3Hax has published reports about various Sony and Sony-related site breaches throughout the years.
Anyone who was registered with PS3Hax around the time of the breach or before should immediately change their password, if they haven't already, and also update any other accounts that shared the same breached password.
