July 2015 – 282,000 accounts affected
In July 2015, Seedpeer, a torrent website, was hacked and approximately 282,000 user accounts were stolen and published including information on the user's email addresses, passwords and usernames.
In July 2015 a torrent website called Seedpeer was breached and approximately 282,000 members' accounts were stolen including those users' email addresses, passwords and usernames.
Anyone who was registered on this torrent website should reset their passwords immediately, if they haven't already, and they should also change the passwords of any other accounts that shared the same password as the one hacked.
