In January 2014, a cyber criminal group out of Eastern Europe that calls themselves “Verified” was breached and the identities of 18,894 hackers were released online, including the hackers’ login creds (username and password) for their forum database and other member information like email addresses, historical passwords, IP addresses, private messages and website activity. Another thing exposed during this breach was all of the attachments that Verified members uploaded to their forum since 2011.

Before being hacked themselves, Verified specialized in hacking online banking and conducting financial frauds against big organizations in the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia.
