Cannabis.com

In February 2014, the marijuana website Cannabis.com, suffered a breach of its vBulletin forum. There has not been a lot of information published about the breach, which the website has managed to keep relatively quiet, but it is known that approximately 227,000 accounts that were registered to engage in the forum were compromised and that in addition to dates of birth, email addresses, geographic locations, passwords, Instant Messenger IDs, IP addresses and usernames, the cyber thieves also got access to roughly 10,000 private messages between members.

The website is currently being reconfigured and has a traditional “coming soon” notice and an email submission form to be notified when the site is live. It’s unknown whether the domain has changed ownership since the data breach.
